The Identity Manager 4.8.6 Bundle Edition is available for OES 2023. Ensure that the Identity Manager 4.8.5 is installed on the OES server (OES 2018 SP2 or OES2018 SP3) and applied with the latest patches before you upgrade to version 4.8.6.
Repeat the following steps for the Identity Manager node in each peer cluster of the business continuity cluster:
Before you upgrade to Identity Manager 4.8.6, save the BCC driver configuration information, then stop the BCC drivers.
Upgrade the Identity Manager node to OES 2023. For information, see Upgrading to OES 2023 in the OES 2023: Installation Guide.
Upgrade the Identity Manager 4.8.5 to Identity Manager 4.8.6. For information, see Section 5.2.1, Installing and Configuring the Identity Manager Components Used by BCC.
Install the IDM 4.8.6 plug-ins using iManager. For information, see Section 5.2.2, Installing the Identity Manager Plug-in for iManager.
Start the BCC driver in Identity Manager. If BCC driver does not come up, ensure that the eDirectory is up and running on the Identity Manager node.
