Complete the Activation

After the activation file is installed, further configuration may be required to activate your add-on product. Follow the steps for your product (listed on the right).

Security Proxy Server

1. Copy the activation file, activation.security_proxy-14.1.1.<n>.jaw, into the

   /securityproxy/lib/modules folder on each machine where Security Proxy Server is installed.

2. Start the Security Proxy Server.

Automated Sign-On

Once the activation file is installed, you can enable Automated Sign-On.

1. In the MSS Administrative Console, open Configure Settings - Automated Sign-on.

2. Enable Automated Sign-On for your host type and continue with the configuration steps.

   • For IBM DCAS Automated Sign-On on z/OS systems, refer to Configure Automated Sign-On for Mainframe - IBM DCAS.

   • For IBM Z MFA Automated Sign-On on z/OS systems, refer to Configure Automated Sign-On for Mainframe - IBM Z MFA.

   • For non-z/OS host types, refer to Configure Automated Sign-On for Host Access.

Micro Focus Advanced Authentication

1. In the MSS Administrative Console, open Configure Settings - Authentication & Authorization.

2. Click Micro Focus Advanced Authentication, and enter the required information. See Help for assistance.
