Automated Sign-on
Automated Sign-On enables an end user to automatically log on to a host application using a terminal emulation client.
Note
An LDAP directory is required for user authorization.
Settings must be configured in three locations:
- Management and Security Server (MSS) — to secure the server connections and manage user access
- the terminal emulation client — to create the login macro and configure the client
-
the host — to support the use of one-time passwords
When using z/OS, refer to the Automated Sign-on for Mainframe - Administrator Guide for the client and z/OS configuration.
Proceed with the MSS Administrative Console settings in Configure Settings - Automated Sign-on.
