Using this dialog box, you can specify the size of the terminal screen and other options that affect how data appears on the screen.

Force Input To CAPS |
Select this option to display uppercase characters as you type them or as the host sends them, even if you type in lowercase. If you clear this option, the session window displays text in both uppercase and lowercase. |
Saved Inputs |
Type the number of entries to save (1-20) so that you can recall them later. For example, if you set this to 5 and make five entries on the screen, you can recall the first entry by pressing CTRL+DOWN ARROW five times. You can also use the arrow buttons to specify the desired number. |

Type the text to display in the status line for the fields below. |
To configure an ALC session
If an ALC session is not already open, open one.
From the Options menu, click Settings.
From the Categories list box, click Display.
Make desired selections.
To specify the number of columns and rows
If an ALC session is not already open, open one.
From the Options menu, click Settings.
From the Categories list box, click Display.
From the Screen Size list box, click the desired number of columns and rows to display on the screen.
The first value in each combination is the number of columns; the second value is the number of rows. For example, 80 x 23 is 80 columns by 23 rows.
The actual size of the screen is determined by the font and size you select on the Fonts tab.
To specify whether to display the New Line character
If an ALC session is not already open, open one.
From the Options menu, click Settings.
From the Categories list box, click Display.
Do one of the following:

To prevent entries from being recalled
If an ALC session is not already open, open one.
From the Options menu, click Settings.
From the Categories list box, click Display.
In the Signin Text box, type a string that will identify an entry.
Any entry identified with this string is now prevented from being recalled.
