IBM hosts
IBM hosts support the following methods:
-
Mainframe file transfer is supported in 3270 sessions.
-
IBM System i data transfer is supported in 5250 sessions. Other versions (including IBM AS/400, AS400, and iSeries systems) are also supported.

VT hosts
VT hosts support the following methods:
-
A Reflection proprietary protocol, which you can use to transfer files between your PC and an HP 3000 (including Classic, MPE/iX, and POSIX), VMS (including OpenVMS and Alpha computers), ULTRIX, Unisys, Linux Console or UNIX system.
-
A variety of public domain protocols, including FTP.
T27
T27 emulation supports CANDE file transfer, which you can use to transfer text files between your PC and the host.
UTS hosts
UTS emulation comes with two file transfer protocols that you can use to send and receive files to and from the host.
-
OS 2200 lets you transfer files between your PC and an OS 2200 Editor. For example, you can create a text file using a word processor on your PC and upload the file to the OS 2200 Editor. The resulting file would appear just as it would if you had entered the text directly into the OS 2200 Editor. Conversely, you can download OS 2200 files from the host to be used on your PC.
-
MAPPER lets you upload PC files to the host as MAPPER reports or download MAPPER reports to your PC.
FTP Client
InfoConnect also includes a separate, fully featured FTP client application available from any host session or from the Windows Start menu.
