Comm Configuration Dialog Box

How do I get to this dialog box?

  1. From the Create New ALC Document dialog box, click Create Path.

  2. From the Select Path Type dialog box, select any of the following path templates and click OK.

    • PTR_COM

    • PTR_MXBTAEA

    • PTR_MXBTAG

    • PTR_SHARES

  3. In the Add Path dialog box, click Configure.

Complete this dialog box to configure your PTR setup with the serial port.
Comm. Port Select the COM port to use when communicating with the printer.
**Baud Rate ** Select the communication line speed.
Char. Size Select the character size to use when communicating with the printer.
**Parity ** Select the entry that corresponds the setting of your printer.
**Stop Bits ** Stop bits indicate the end of a character. Select the number of stop bits to use when communicating with the printer.
**Flow Control ** Select the method your printer is set to use to indicate that its buffer is full.
