Configure Connection Settings Dialog Box
How do I get to this dialog box?

Open an ALC, T27, or UTS terminal session.

Open the Settings window.
The steps depend on your user interface mode.
User interface mode Steps Ribbon or InfoConnect Browser With a session open, from the Quick Access Toolbar, click .
TouchUX With a session open, tap the Gear icon and then select
Document Settings.
Classic MDI With a session open, choose Options and then Settings. -
Under Terminal Connection, select Configure Connection Settings.
Connection
Choose one of the following options.
Option | Description |
---|---|
Path name / Path description (list box) | If available, select an existing path from the list to use with this session. If you want the option to use different, pre-configured paths each time you start the session, select Choose Path at session startup instead. If you want to create a new path, click Create Path instead. |
Note: You can right-click on any listed path to delete that path or modify the path using the Database editor. | |
Choose Path at session startup (check box) | Select this option if you want to choose from a list of existing paths each time you start the session. |
Host Connection Options
Option | Description |
---|---|
Manually connect to the host | Select this option if you do not want InfoConnect to connect to the host automatically when you open the session document. |
Clear screen at session disconnect | Select this option if you want InfoConnect to clear the screen when you disconnect from the host. This option is not available for ALC sessions; with these sessions the screen always clears when you disconnect. |
Graphics
This option is only available for UTS terminal sessions. To use it you must install the GraphX32 feature (included under Options Pack in the installation tree).

Host graphics type | No Host Graphics - (Default) Select this option if you have not installed InfoConnect GraphX. |
MAPPER - For connections to a Unisys ClearPath IX Series or 1100/200 Series host. | |
MAPPER A - For connections to a Unisys ClearPath NX/LS or A Series host. | |
MAPPER C - For connections to a UNIX host. |
