Configure a UTS session for MAPPER file transfer using the Configure File Transfer Settings dialog box.
Connect to the host.
Initiate the file upload. The steps depend on your user interface mode.

With a session open, from the Session Ribbon, click Send File. |
Classic MDI |
With a session open, from the Toolsmenu, select Send File. |
Use this dialog box to transfer data from the PC to the host.
Configure the following settings, then click Transfer to initiate the transfer:
PC File Name |
The name of the local file you want to upload. Include full path information. |
Host File
Report |
The number (1-9999) that identifies the MAPPER report that you want to upload the PC file into. If the report already appears in the session window, you can leave this text box blank. |
Drawer |
The letter (A-I) of the drawer that contains the MAPPER report that you want to upload the PC file into. If the report already appears in the session window, you can leave this text box blank. |
CSV File |
Select this option if you are uploading a file that was previously downloaded using the comma-separated variable format. Clear this option if you are uploading any other type of file. |
Formatted RID |
Select this option if you want to reserve the first column of the file for commands. If you clear this option, data can be written in the first column. |
Action |
Specify the action to take with the MAPPER report on the host: Overwrite - Replace the existing file with the file being transferred. Insert - Insert the data in the PC file into the MAPPER report, beginning at the line specified in the At Line text box Append - Add the data in the PC file to the end of the MAPPER report. You can change the default for this option in the Configure File Transfer Settings dialog box. |
