OutputEncoding

By default, IDOL Content Component converts the result documents to the encoding specified in the DefaultEncoding parameter in the IDOL Content Component configuration file.

To convert the result documents to another encoding before they return, add the OutputEncoding parameter to your action. You can specify only encodings that are compatible with the language of the query.

Click a language to display the available encodings. Alternatively, if you know the standard encoding, you can use the second table to find the IDOL encoding name for this parameter. For each language, you can also set the Encodings parameters to UTF8 or UCS2.
