Platform and System Requirements

.NET

All components using .NET target .NET 7 runtime. Depending on the component, it may require either the .NET Desktop or ASP.NET Core runtime.

Each File Dynamics package installer will install any necessary .NET system runtime. In cases where Internet access is not available, you must install the required .NET runtime as indicated below.

Supported Databases

SQL Server

This release of File Dynamics requires an instance of Microsoft SQL Server. The following editions of SQL Server are supported with this release.

NOTE: Due to size restrictions with SQL Server Express, consider using SQL Server Standard or Enterprise for larger deployments.

File Dynamics 24.1 has been tested with the latest releases of CouchDB 3.3.x and 3.2.x.

NOTE: While previous versions may continue to work, we strongly recommend upgrading to a current supported version found on the CouchDB download site https://couchdb.apache.org/#download.
