Use the Macro dialog box to specify which macro you want to run, record, edit, or delete. You can edit your recorded macro code or create more complex macros using the Macro Editor.

Choose this button to run the macro listed in the Macro Name text box. |

Choose this button to stop the macro after it has started running. |
Record button |
Choose this button to begin recording the macro listed in the Macro Name text box. |
Browse button |
Choose this button to display a standard Browse dialog box from which you can select an Extra! Basic macro (.ebm) file. |
Edit button |
Choose this button to edit the macro listed in the Macro Name text box. |
Delete button |
Choose this button to delete the macro listed in the Macro Name text box. |
Show Only Running Macros in List |
When selected, the Macro Name list will show only macros that are currently running. |
Help button |
Displays Help for this dialog box. |
Macro Name List |
Displays a list of the most recently used macros. |
To run a macro
The following steps describe how you can run a macro after you've recorded it, or saved it in the Macro Editor.
From the Tools menu, choose Macro.
Type the name of the macro you want to run or select Browse to locate the macro file, and then choose the Run button.
