Use the options in the Display General page to select and configure a specific type (mode) of terminal emulation. You can change your terminal type while a session is active. The default values provided for most options in the Display General page are suitable for most users.

National Set |
Uses the selected National Replacement Character Set as the WYSE Native Character Set. In most applications, the WYSE Native Character Set is used as the lower (0-127) character set. |
User Preferred Set |
Uses the selected User Preferred Character Set as the WYSE Multinational Character Set. In most applications, the WYSE Multinational Character Set is used as the upper (128-255) character set. For Euro character support, select PC Multilingual Euro (858). To display one of the Turkish or Greek character sets, use the Arial Terminal font or Lucida For Attachmate font. |
Automatically Reload Character Sets |
Select to automatically load the appropriate character set when Terminal Mode or the number of lines is changed. This clears the host settings for character sets and returns the values to the defaults. |
