Received CR mode |
If selected, a received CR moves the cursor to the beginning of the next line. If cleared, a received CR moves the cursor to the beginning of the current line. |
Automatic Line Wrap |
If selected, when characters are entered at the end of a line, the cursor wraps to the start of the next line. If cleared, the character at the end of the line is replaced. |
Insert Mode |
If selected, characters you type within a line of text are inserted into the line (line is made longer). If cleared, typed characters replace existing characters. |
Page Edit |
Controls whether editing functions affect only the line containing the cursor, or the entire page. For example, if Insert Mode is selected and Page Edit is cleared, characters you type in the line will shift characters on the current line only; characters at the end of the line are lost. If Insert Mode and Page Edit are selected, characters you type in the line will shift characters on the current line and on every line for the rest of the page; characters at the end of the page are lost. |
Auto Scroll |
If selected, when the cursor moves the last line of the page, the page scrolls up one line. If cleared, the cursor wraps around to the top of the same page. The adjacent option, Auto Page, must be cleared. |
Auto Page |
If selected, when the cursor moves the last line of the page, it moves to the top of the next page. If cleared, the cursor wraps to the top of the same page or the page scrolls, depending on the setting of Auto Scroll. |
Character |
If an escape sequence turns on a character attribute, that attribute will affect the next character entered and each successive character on the page, until the attribute is turned off. Not available for WYSE50+. |
Line |
If an escape sequence turns on a character attribute, that attribute will immediately extend to all character positions from the cursor to the end of the line, or until another attribute is encountered. |
Page |
