Scheme

Save As

Saves your transfer scheme under the filename and location you provide.

Delete

Choose to delete the selected file transfer scheme.

If Host File Exists On Send

Choose to overwrite or append if the file already exists on the host.

Include Files In Subfolders

Select to send all files (or file types, if you are using a wildcard) in the subdirectories of the directory selected in PC, under Filename, on the Transfer File dialog box.

If PC File Exists On Receive

Select to save the file with a unique name, rename the existing PC file, abort the transfer, overwrite the existing PC file, append the existing PC file, or prompt for action.

Create Path if it Does Not Exist

Choose to have the path (for the received file) automatically assigned if it does not already exist.

Manual

Specifies the field size when performing a manual transfer. The field size can be between 2 KB and 32 KB.

HLLAPI

Specifies the field size when performing a HLLAPI transfer.

File Format

Text: Specifies that files are transferred with default settings for all host types. Files sent to the host are converted from ASCII (the character code set used by the PC) to EBCDIC (the code set used by the host). Files received from the host are converted from EBCDIC to ASCII.

Carriage Return and Line Feed: When you are receiving a file, this option inserts end-of-line characters during the file transfer. When you are sending a file to the mainframe, this option retains those characters during the file transfer. Generally, you should select this option because the host file separates information with end-of-line characters, whereas the PC uses carriage return and line feed.

Default Transfer Path

If the file does not already exist on the PC, displays the path specified in the Transfer File dialog box.
