To start an
Enterprise Server command prompt as an administrator
Windows 7 and Earlier
From your Windows desktop, click
Start > All Programs > Micro Focus Enterprise Server > Tools.
Depending on your operating system, right-click either
Enterprise Server Command Prompt (32-bit) or
Enterprise Server Command Prompt (64-bit); then select
Run as administrator from the context menu.
If prompted, click
Yes.
Windows
8,
8.1, and Windows Server 2012
From the Windows
Start screen, right-click either the
Enterprise Server Command Prompt (32-bit) or the
Enterprise Server Command Prompt (64-bit) tile.
On the bottom of the page, click
Run as administrator.
If prompted, click
Yes.
Windows 10 and Later
From your Windows desktop, click
Start > Micro FocusEnterprise Server >
Enterprise Server Command Prompt (32-bit) or
Command Prompt (64-bit) > More > Run as Administrator.
Windows 11
Open
Windows Terminal on your machine, and click
Open a new tab. From the drop-down menu you can select either
Micro FocusEnterprise Server Command Prompt (32-bit) or the
Micro FocusEnterprise Server Command Prompt (64-bit). Press
Ctrl when you click the item to run as administrator.
