Use this page to view details of an output file from a job and to change control information for the file.
Active | The job is currently being executed |
Complete | The file has been printed |
Input Hold | The job is currently held in the input queue: it will not be executed until you release it |
Input Ready | The job is currently in the input queue |
Other | The status is unknown |
Output Held | The output from the job is held awaiting release |
Output Ready | The output from the job is available to be scheduled |
Parsing | MSS is currently parsing the JCL |
SYSOUT Disp | The output data set is scheduled to an output device but not yet actioned (transient state) |
SYSOUT Print | The output file is currently being printed |
SYSOUT Hold | The output data set is scheduled to an output device but not yet actioned (transient state) |
SYSOUT Ready | The output data set is available to be scheduled to an output device |
Click this to delete the file.
Shows the codeset of the output file.
Shows the date and time the output file was created.
If you select Both, the system tries to display the contents without regard to the codeset used. For example, the strings x'41424344' and x'a1a2a3a4' are both displayed as "ABCD". You might find this of use if you are not sure what codeset was used to create the file.
The value 'Dump' gives you a hexadecimal dump of the file.
