Rebuild Options - /d

Specifies that Rebuild should perform a data scrape, which reconstructs the index of an indexed file from the data area.

Any corrupt data records are skipped and logged to a file.

Parameters

c n

Attempt to recover all valid records from the data file to the physical end of file, rather than the logical end of file. This option is valid for C-ISAM files only.

Default

If the /d option is not set, Rebuild returns file status error 9/041 when it encounters a corrupted record.
