MDS0057E Resource manager ID field must have a value

You tried to add an external resource manager in the enterprise server definition without a mandatory ID value or you deleted the ID value while editing the resource manager definition.
Resolution:

You can resolve this issue by specifying an ID value for the resource manager definition:

  1. Open the Enterprise Server Administration page.
  2. Click Edit for the affected region.
  3. Click Server > Properties > XA Resources.
  4. Click Edit next to the XA Resource that requires an ID.
  5. In the ID field, type a value.
  6. Click Add.
