- In the dropdown list under
Resources on the ESMAC menu, select
JES.
- Click
Catalog in the
Resources part of the ESMAC menu.
- To limit the entries displayed, enter a filter string in the text field next to the
List button. For example, enter "ABC*" to view only those data sets that begin with ABC. You can use a single asterisk as a wild
card.
Note: Check
Disable Additional Qualifiers to disable the use of implied wild cards; for example, a filter of A.B would only return a data set of A.B (and not all data
sets that start A.B, as if A.B** had been entered).
- Click the
List button.
- On the Data Catalog, page click
DCB against the entry that you want to update.
- Update the fields
Start and
for to indicate which records you want to view. Clear the
for field to view all the records in a file. The default is that you view the first 10000 records or the whole file, whichever
is the shorter.
- In
Codeset choose the codeset that you want to be used for the display.
- If you want to see extra details check
Details.
- Click
Display.
The contents of the data set are displayed. Click
Back on your Browser toolbar to return to the Catalog Entry page.
Note: If you are viewing the catalog from the
Enterprise Server Administration page, and you attempt to view all the records in a large file, be aware that your browser will take some time
to display all the records, and might run out of memory.
