CICS WEBSERVICE

Use this page to create a new WEBSERVICE.

Note: The recommended approach is to let the install of a PIPELINE dynamically create the appropriate WEBSERVICE resources. A WEBSERVICE will be created for each .wsbind file found in the WSDIR directory which is specified in the PIPELINE definition.

If you displayed this page by clicking Copy on a previous page, the values on the previous page are used as the basis for the new WEBSERVICE.

Click Apply to save changes you have made to the page and refresh the page.

Name: The name of this WEBSERVICE definition. If you click Apply, the message Update complete is also displayed when the changes you have made to the WEBSERVICE have been saved and the entry updated. Click Refresh to remove this message.
Description: Shows a description of this WEBSERVICE definition.
Validation: Specify whether validation of SOAP messages against the associated schema will be performed. This is not currently supported and so only ‘No’ is a valid option.
Pipeline: Shows the name of the PIPELINE associated with this WEBSERVICE.
WSBind: Shows the fully qualified location of the web service binding file.
WSDL File: Shows the fully qualified location of the WSDL file (currently unused).
Archive File: Unused.
