To Create a Secure Listener

For an Enterprise Server instance, you can create a secure listener, to encrypt the communications that the listener handles.

  1. On the Enterprise Server Administration screen, edit the server to which you want to add the secure listener.
  2. Select the Listeners tab, and next to the listener you want to secure, click Edit.
  3. In the Endpoint Options area, select the Secure Sockets Layer checkbox.

    The Certificate and the Keyfile fields become active.

  4. Enter the path locations of the certficate and the private key file.
  5. Click OK to save your configurations.
