CESL - Sign On

Signs on to a terminal using long password/pass phrase.

Syntax:

CESL

Notes:

A list of environment variables and their values is displayed on the screen.

You do not enter any options at the command line. A screen appears when you enter the command, prompting you for:

  • Userid - must be between one and eight characters
  • Password - must be between 1 and 100 characters. Your password is not displayed on the screen when you type it in.
  • New password - must be between 1 and 100 characters. This field is shown only if you have the authority to change your password.
