Note: If you have Micro Focus Rumba Desktop installed, you can enable it from the IDE
options as the TN3270 emulator to launch from within the IDE in order to run or debug your applications.
- When you start debugging, the IDE launches
Rumba+ Desktop, if it is not already running, connects it to the
enterprise server region, and starts the application in a mainframe session.
If you receive a message that the Rumba profile will be read-only, click
OK. The session then connects automatically.
If
Rumba+ Desktop is already open when you start debugging, Visual Studio enters debug mode and you can step through the code.
- Stopping debugging closes the session.
- Closing
Rumba+ Desktop stops debugging in Visual Studio and the mainframe session ends.

Rumba+ Desktop product Help.
