The Dynamic CTF command line utility is a tool that allows you to dynamically change the trace settings of an application that is currently running with CTF enabled.
You must run the utility from the same machine as is running the application that you are dynamically configuring.
Whilst your application is running, you can alter trace levels, and add or remove components to or from the trace. You can also configure the emitters in effect, as long as a qualifying event for the emitter has not already been written out to the logs; once that happens, you cannot alter the configuration of that emitter.
The command line utility also accepts these options from within a configuration file, allowing you to save common settings in one place, and easily apply them time and time again.
