Using the AWM Extension Templates

There are several AWM plug-in extension templates provided with the product.

The AWM plug-in extension templates can be selected when creating a plug-in project. See Creating a Plug-in Project for more information.

Selecting an AWM plug-in extension template will create a complete, executable plug-in project in combination with a model in the project's model folder which can be used to test the AWM plug-in extension template.

Follow the steps in Creating an AWM Plug-in Project.

  1. Instead of clicking Finish is step 6, click Next.

    This takes you to the Templates stage in the New Plug-in Project dialog box.

  2. Select the appropriate AWM template.
    Note: The templates are described in the following chapters.
  3. Click Finish.
