To validate an associated enterprise server region for a CICS Web service

  1. From the Application Explorer view in Eclipse, expand the Web Services entry for your project.
  2. Right-click the Web service you want to validate.
  3. On the Validate Instance Result dialog box, review the list of messages. For a description of each field and control on this dialog box, see the Validate Instance Result reference topic.
  4. If any warnings appear on the list, click CICS Resources.

    This invokes the CICS Resources dialog box where you can resolve the warnings on your list. For a description of each field and control, see the CICS Resources reference topic.

    Important: Before you can successfully run your Web service on the associated enterprise server region, all warnings must be resolved.
  5. Adjust your CICS configuration as required until the Validation result list shows no warnings.
