Before you start creating applications, AMB needs to know where you want to store your generated code, and also needs you to define an AMB user ID to identify your jobs in the Job Queue. You do these by creating an AMB user area.
The User area directory field shows the default AMB user area parent directory, which is %PUBLIC%\Documents\Micro Focus\Enterprise Developer\AMBWorkArea.
AMB creates a new directory of the same name as your provided AMB user ID. This new directory is a subdirectory to the AMB user area parent directory shown in the User area directory field.
