AppMaster Builder Preferences

The information stored as AppMaster Builder preferences is used as you develop and generate all AMB applications. You set these preferences on a global level, meaning they apply to all applications in the current AMB project. The AppMaster Builder preferences include:

AppMaster Builder

Set your current project and user area directories, enable a workgroup, and optionally specify an Enterprise Developer project in which to compile generated code.

Customization

Select a method for loading and expanding applications, set tooltip options, and set Job Queue options.

Data View

Set a generation option for SQL data views.

Editors

Set options for the Data Structure, Program, and Report Painters.

Environment

Optionally set a database directory and alternate directories for file storage.

International

Set preferences that apply to the language used in your code.

Job Queue

Set preferences that affect the Job Queue.

Enable or disable run-time logging.

Mainframe Access

Set preferences for accessing mainframe resources.

DB2 Connection

Define and set a DB2 connection to use with SQL data views.

Set options for generated code.
