Opening an Import Specification

An import specification that has been saved can be opened and reused to save time respecifying the import options.

To open an import specification:

1. 
   
   Click the Open button on the toolbar or click the Open command from the File menu.

   SQLWizard displays the Open dialog box. If an Import window is active, the List Objects Of Type field shows the *.imp extension and all files with that extension are listed. If an Import window is not active, click the down-arrow button for the List Objects Of Type field to display the drop-down list; select the *.imp extension.

2. Choose the name of the import file you want to open to display its specifications in the Import window.
   Note:

   Only batch files containing one import transaction can be opened into an Import window. To run a Batch Import file containing more than one transaction, use the Run Batch command from the File menu.
