To submit a JCL file

JCL submissions can be made to any JCL-enabled enterprise server region that you have the credentials to access.

1. In the Application Explorer view, navigate to the required JCL file within a project.
2. Right-click the file and select one of the following options:
   • Submit JCL to Enterprise Server
   • Submit JCL to associated Server - this option is dependent on the containing project already being associated with an enterprise server region; see To associate an enterprise server with a project.

   If you submit the JCL file to an associated server, it is submitted automatically; refer to the Console view for details of the submission.

   If you selected Submit JCL to Enterprise Server, the Server name specification dialog box is displayed, where you can select the enterprise server region.

3. Complete the ESCWA Name, Directory Server, and Server Name fields, and then click OK.

   The JCL file is submitted; refer to the Console view for details.
