Launching the Display to Run Applications

To start an HACloud session:

  • From COBOL Explorer - right-click your project, and click Enterprise Server > Show TN3270 Display.
  • From Server Explorer - right-click the enterprise server region associated with your project, and click Show TN3270 Display.
Note: If the Show TN3270 Display is grayed out, ensure that the HACloud session server is running; see Running an HACloud TN3270 session for more information.

To start the Rumba Mainframe Display view:

  • From COBOL Explorer - right-click your project, and click Enterprise Server > Show TN3270 Display.
  • From Server Explorer - right-click the enterprise server region associated with your project, and click Show TN3270 Display.
  • From the IDE menus:
    1. In the IDE, click Window > Show View > Other.
    2. Select Rumba Mainframe Display under Micro Focus, and click OK.
    3. Connect the display to the enterprise server region on which your application is running.
To start a third-party TN3270 emulator:
  1. Start the emulator manually outside of the IDE.
  2. Connect the emulator to the enterprise server on which your application is running.
