Enabling Just-in-Time debugging

You can enable Eclipse to be your Just-in-Time (JIT) debug client by setting the COBJIT_ECLIPSE=true environment variable: Eclipse is invoked when your COBOL program requires a debugger. Additional configuration of the default launch configuration used when Eclipse starts can be configured from Window > Preferences > Micro Focus > COBOL > Debug.

Note: If this variable is not set, the Character Animator is invoked instead.
