CICS Resources

Filter system-defined groups: When checked, filters out startup groups defined by the system, showing only the startup groups defined by the user.
Order/Name/Description/System list: Lists the startup groups defined for the startup list specified in the Startup group field on the Validate Instance Result dialog box. System-defined startup groups appear with a yes in the System column. Otherwise, the group is user-defined.
Add Group: Add an existing CICS resource group to the startup list.
Create Group: Define a new CICS resource group.
Note: To automatically add your new group to the startup list when you create it, be sure to check Add to startup group on the Create CICS Group dialog box.
Up/Down: Select a group and click a button to move it up or down on the list. Your enterprise server instance looks for resources in each group starting at the top of the list, so the higher on the list the group appears, the earlier it is accessed.
Edit: Select a group on the list and click this to make changes to the group description.
Remove: Select a group and click this to remove it from the list.

Note: The Add buttons available for this group are dynamic depending on the resources available for the Web service type.

Name/Type/Active/Group/Description/System list: Lists the resources available for the type of Web service. System-defined resources appear with a yes in the System column. Otherwise, the resource is user-defined. Also, resources that are installed into their corresponding Group appear with a yes in the Active column. Otherwise, the resource is defined but unavailable.
Add Bundle: Click this to add a Bundle resource to the list.
Add PCT: Click this to add a PCT resource to the list.
Add Pipeline: Click this to add a Pipeline resource to the list.
Add TCPIPSv: Click this to add a TCP/IP resource to the list.
Add URIMap: Click this to add a URIMap resource to the list.
Edit: Select a resource on the list and click this to make changes to the resource definition.
Install: Select a resource on the list and click this to activate it.
Remove: Select a resource and click this to remove it from the list.

Name/Message list: Shows the result of the validation, including informational messages and warning messages .
Copy All: Copies all messages to the clipboard.
Copy Selection: Copies selected messages to the clipboard.
