This topic describes error messages that are specific to the Manage Connections tool.

An existing connection was found and no action was taken. If you wish to add or update an existing connection, please specify the FORCE=TRUE parameter. | An existing connection cannot be overwritten. | The user may choose to set the parameter FORCE=TRUE to overwrite, or do nothing. |

The process does not have the WRITE permission to the file | The process does not have WRITE permission to the specific file. | Depending on the security policy of the organization, the resolution can be either Run as Administrator or Grant the user WRITE permission. |
Unable to list SQL Server instances | Unable to list SQL Server instances in the local area network. | Check the network connectivity. |
Unable to write DSN tracking file | XML schema error. | Contact Micro Focus support. |
Validation of command line parameters failed | Some of the command line parameters have syntax errors. | Correct the syntax errors by following the sample format provided in the command line usage documentation topic. |
