Set Up the JCL1 Project

Create an Eclipse project

1. Click File > New > Mainframe COBOL Project .
2. In the Project name field, type JCL1, and then click Finish.

Add project subdirectories

This project requires some additional subdirectories in which to store configuration and data files. You specify these directories when configuring the enterprise server region.

1. In the Application Explorer view, right-click the JCL1 project, and then select New > Folder > Folder from the context menu.
   Note: If Folder is not an option on the context menu, click Other, and create a new folder from there.
2. In the Folder name field, type data, and then click Finish.
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2, but this time name the new folder system.
4. Repeat steps 1 and 2, but this time name the new folder New_configuration.bin.
