This topic describes how to configure your machine to use a central license server. You might have already done this when
you installed your product.
You need the IP address or server name for the central license server you want to use.
Important: We recommend that
Advanced Configuration options other than those referenced here are modified only under guidance from
Micro Focus
Customer Care.
Windows
- Start
Micro Focus License Administration.
- Select
Options > Advanced Configuration.
- Click
Change next to License server.
- In the
New value field, type the IP address or server name for the network license server.
- Click
Save.
- Close the Advanced Configuration window.
- Click
File > Exit.

- Start the command-line
Micro Focus License Administration tool.
- Select the
Advanced Configuration Options option by entering

License server option by inputting the corresponding list number and clicking
Enter.
- Enter the IP address or server name of the central license server and click
Enter.
