To specify COBOL formatting preferences

  1. In the IDE, click Window > Preferences > Micro Focus > COBOL > Editor > Formatter.
  2. Expand the sections on the preferences page, and specify any formatting options as required.
  3. Click either Apply and Close to save your changes or Restore Defaults to cancel them.
