The exit TAUCMXCO is intended to set the compiler options for the background parser of the local editor in Enterprise Developer.
The compiler options can be set depending on the component's language in ChangeMan.
The exit is called from the exit TAUCMSYL which determines the SYSLIB concatenation. TAUCMSYL returns both the SYSLIB concatenation and the local compiler options separated by %#%.
The activation of the exit requires that an application specific attribute is specified in the ChangeMan model with the name COMPOPT and the value '&CMG_PROP_SPECIFIC_CompOpt.'. This application specific attribute is not specified in the ChangeMan model by default.
See Compiler Directives chapter for more information on valid local compiler options.
The default local compiler option setting for a COBOL program is:
DIALECT(ENTCOBOL) CICSECM XDB(NOVALIDATE) EXECDLI
The default local compiler option setting for a PL/I program is:
-margins 1,72 -cics
