You can configure the general Eclipse behavior for all projects by specifying options on the different property pages in
Window > Preferences and on
Window > Preferences > Micro Focus, in particular. Some preferences that differ from the default ones are stored in the current workspace and might need to
be reapplied if you change the workspace.
You can use the Eclipse preferences to configure a variety of aspects of the
Micro Focus projects such as:
- The builder preferences for projects
- Code analysis
- Code coverage
- The editor behavior
- Profiler preferences
- Preferences for compiling and working with standalone files
- Preferences of the Consolidated Tracing Facility
- Database preferences for the background parse behavior and for the OpenESQL Assistant
- Debug preferences for the default X11 server display to use when you work with remote projects
- The remote JREs to use
- Any saved Micro Focus search queries
- Interface Mapper general properties
- Templates - the default project and file templates and their location
