You use the Screen Designer to create or manage a screen customization project. You can do this in one or both of the following
ways:
- Using screens
- Each screen in the specific host session is uniquely identified and is customized individually.
- Using rules
- The data of each screen of a specific host session is passed through a set of rules to produce modern controls on the screen.
The Rumba Screen Designer offers the following features:
- Screen identification creating a unique screen identifier for each screen.
- Modern WPF controls added to green screen applications to modernize input fields, buttons, choosers, and other window elements.
- Use green screen application data to launch external applications such as VOIP or Google Maps.
- Extend the reach of green screen applications with three Rumba+ clients: Windows, iPad, or Web.
- Code-free modernization. Add WPF controls to green screen applications with no programming requirements.
- Natural language modernization rules engine enabling contextual and conditional controls over multiple green screens, without
specialized programming requirements.
