Submitting a job from the local catalog

If you are submitting a job to enterprise server, it must be running before the job is submitted.

In Server Explorer, expand Micro Focus Servers > localhost.
Note: If Server Explorer is not already displayed, click View > Server Explorer.
Expand the enterprise server that contains the local catalog, then Catalog.
The catalog filters appear.
Expand the required filter. The items that match the filter criteria appear.
Right-click the required JCL file, click Submit, then click To mainframe to submit a job to the JES spool of the configured mainframe, or To Micro Focus Server to submit to the JES spool of the enterprise server.
If you submitted the job to the mainframe, you may be prompted to log on to the mainframe before the job is submitted.
If required, enter your mainframe logon details, then click OK.
The job is submitted.
