To Start ESCWA

To start ESCWA on Windows:

1. Run services.msc to open the Windows Service Manager.
2. In the Services list, click Micro Focus Enterprise Server Common Web Administration.
   Note: The service has a default startup type of Manual. Micro Focus recommends that you do not change this to Automatic until you have configured your security managers.
3. To start the ESCWA service, click Start.
4. Once the service is running you can access the Web interface with the following URL http:localhost:10086/
   Note: On the first occasion you access the Web interface, two warning messages will be displayed:

   • The ESCWA server is not TLS-enabled. Communications across the network will not be encrypted. Micro Focus recommends that you enable TLS settings as soon as possible.
   • Access and administration of the ESCWA server is not restricted. Micro Focus recommends that you configure user access as soon as possible.
