The XDB Link Host Option must be running in order for XDB Link to access DB2 using TCP/IP. To start the Host Option, issue the following command from the system console:
S stcname
where stcname is the name of the started task created in step 11.
To display the status of the started task and verify that the correct port number is selected, use the following command:
F stcname, DISPLAY STATUS
