CBEGCS

Enables support of double-byte character sets (DBCS) by identifying DBCS or mixed data and attributes, and generating the appropriate output control block files such as .mid, .mod, .dif, .dof.
Note: Supported by all mfims utilities.

Comments:

Before generating the MFS and before running a DBCS transaction, remove environment variables that set CODEPAGE or CODESET.

Generated control block files contain EBCDIC strings with SO/SI pairs enclosing DBCS literals.
