Specify the Project Properties

To specify the project properties:

  1. In Solution Explorer, double-click the Properties folder, and click the COBOL tab.
  2. Ensure that Source Format is set to Fixed.
  3. Ensure that COBOL dialect is set to Enterprise COBOL for z/OS.
  4. Set Character set to ASCII.
  5. On the Debug tab, select JCL from the drop down list for Active Settings.
  6. Press Ctrl+S to save the changes in the project properties.
