To create an IMS-enabled enterprise server from the Enterprise Developer IDE

  1. From the Enterprise Developer IDE, open Server Explorer.

    If it is hidden, display it by choosing Server Explorer.

  2. Typea name for your enterprise server instance into the Name field.
  3. Check either 32-bit or 64-bit.
  4. Click the browse button next to the Template field.

    This opens the location of the Enterprise Developer server templates which is by default.

  5. Select IMSTemplate.xml, and click Open.
  6. In the Associate with projects box, check an IMS project that contains the application you want to run on the new enterprise server.
