Using Server Explorer with Enterprise Server

Server Explorer is an Eclipse view that enables you to connect to servers, as well as view and access their resources. For example, you can connect to, view and access the following resources:

• Data Connections
• Servers
• Event Logs
• Services

In your COBOL development system, you can also view and access a Micro Focus server.

From Server Explorer you can:

• Connect to a Micro Focus server and check which enterprise servers are running
• Start and stop Micro Focus enterprise servers
• Create or delete Micro Focus enterprise servers
• Run and monitor Mainframe Subsystem applications
• Access the enterprise server administration facilities

If Server Explorer is not displayed, click Window > Show View > Other > Micro Focus > Server Explorer.
