System Requirements for SCOM Implementation

Using SCOM to monitor an Enterprise Server for .NET installation has the following requirements:

• A SCOM server configured on your network.

  Refer to the Microsoft SCOM documentation for information on installing SCOM and setting up a SCOM server.

• The Enterprise Server for .NET SCOM management pack included in the Enterprise Server for .NET installation software.

  The default installation path for this is:

  • For 64-bit systems:

    %ProgramFiles(x86)%\Micro Focus\Enterprise Developer\etc\SEE\SCOM\MicroFocus.SEE.System.mp.

  • For 32-bit systems:

    %ProgramFiles%\Micro Focus\Enterprise Developer\etc\SEE\SCOM\MicroFocus.SEE.System.mp.

To use the SCOM management pack, the COMPLUS_Version system environment variable must be set to 4.0.30319.
