Renaming a Resource Definitions Item

In a CICS resource definition, you can rename group items that do not have a DFH prefix. Items with a DFH prefix are system resources. You can use a hexadecimal name when renaming group items.

Use the following procedure to rename an item.

1. In the Resource Editor, right-click the item to rename and choose Rename.

   The Rename dialog box appears.

   
   
   
2. In the Rename dialog box, select Text name or Hexadecimal name.
3. Type the new resource name and click OK.
