COBSQ0163: Invalid Cursor name

An invalid character, often a hyphen, was found in the cursor name.

If you are using the DB2 directive, check that your cursor name does not contain a hyphen. If it does, do one of the following:

• Remove it from the cursor name (or change it to an allowed character), or...
• Use the HYPHEN-IN-CURSOR SQL Option preprocessor directive.

Note: Although MVS DB2 currently allows hyphens in a cursor name, this practice may not be supported in future releases.
